High efficiency AC-DC voltage regulator

This is a high efficiency voltage regulator with more than 90% efficiency in real-world tests. It is based on TI’s TS54331 chip. This is a switching regulator and is configured for 12V at 2A. However, any other output voltages can be configured. This regulator features a wide input voltage range of 3.5V to 28V. It operates at a fixed frequency of 570KHz. It also features an over-current and thermal shutdown protection.

For light loads (loads at lower currents) an ec0-mode is activated. This helps the regulator maintain its efficiency at light loads too.
